Time for another edition of AI breakfast – meetings with good coffee, sandwich and themes that resonate with the future.

This time we meet in STARTER, in the hall of Gdańsk Bay Tech and take to the workshop two perspectives in which AI meets quantum technologies: modeling cancer biology and optimization of complex logistics processes.

This will be an edition of applications that show that quantum themes are increasingly going beyond theory and are starting to combine science, business, medicine, transport and advanced computing methods.

Cancer decryption through fluid biopsy and quantum modeling

Dr. hab. Anna Supernat will talk about how liquid biopsy, molecular data, artificial intelligence and quantum modelling can support the development of new methods of cancer detection and monitoring. This is a perspective from the borderline of cancer biology, bioinformatics, machine learning and the latest computing methods.

Dr. hab. Anna Supernat is a cancer biologist and researcher specializing in liquid biopsy in oncology, analysis of large-scale molecular data, and the use of artificial intelligence and advanced computational methods in cancer research. He directs the Centre for Biostatistical and Bioinformatic Analysis of Gdańsk Medical University and a research team at the Department of Translational Oncology of Gdańsk Medical University. Her research focuses on finding new ways to detect and monitor cancers based on information in the blood – m.in. Platelet RNA, ctDNA and multiomic data. Currently, within the Fahrenheit University Union, he is also implementing an interdisciplinary FarU project...
