The project results are expected to contribute to the following results:

  • Increase the market footprint of European start-ups on strategic digital technologies and innovation of deep technologies [1], including among others Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Computers, Cybersecurity, Next Generation Internet, Blockchain, the Internet of Things, Metaverse, Energy, Greentech, AgriTech and Fintech;
  • a better mix of startups and scales, including the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) and the European Innovation Council (EIC), supported by startups and seal holders of excellence, with relevant local or European ecosystems, communities and potential new markets;
  • Enhance the ability to adapt technological solutions developed by the highly innovative European Union (EU) funded from digital resources and deep startup technologies, using investment opportunities and growth opportunities in cooperation with other initiatives such as the EIC, the EIT and the Knowledge and Innovation Community (WWiI), the InvestEU, the Digital Europe programme, women TechEU, public and private buyers or investors and corporate ventures innovative.

In order to achieve these results, projects are expected to be given priority:

  • Startups and scalings which have already achieved a match to the market or scaling which have collected at least one round of funding (seeds or later); and
  • Startups and skalaups formed in countries and/or regions "moderate" or "entry"; or
  • Women-led startups and scales [2].

This will combine local digital technology, deep technology and the production of scaled start-ups and ecosystems and support cross-border acceleration activities for start-ups and skalaups that show adhesion (i).
