Investor Ready #1 | Does your startup really need VC?

VC, bootstrap or other source of financing – how to draw capital to the company strategy? Getting an investor is not always the best next step for a startup. Before you start building a pitch deck, arranging meetings with funds and planning a round, it is worth answering a more basic question: what funding does your business really need – and is VC the right way?

During the first open Investor Ready meeting, we will look at various ways of financing the startup’s development and how the choice of capital affects the company’s strategy, growth rate and the role of the founder. The meeting will be led by Jan Wyrwiński, who will look at the topic from both sides of the table as a founder and VC investor. Thanks to this, we will talk not only about what the investor expects from a startup, but also about when the adoption of external capital really supports the development of the company, and when it is worth considering a different path.

This will not be a meeting about how to get an investor at all costs. We want to help founders consciously assess whether, when and what capital their company needs. For who?

The meeting is open to startups, founders and teams from the Tri-City and Pomerania. You do not need to be qualified for a mission on Slush or participate in the further part of Road to Slush. This is an open element of the Investor Ready program, which you can use regardless of what stage of financing your startup is at.
