Blue Baltic Community: Potential Use of USV

USV on the Baltic – from technology to real applications

Unmanned water units cease to be just a technological curiosity. They are increasingly being used in the maritime industry, energy, infrastructure monitoring, civil and defence activities.

During the next Blue Baltic Community workshop we will look at the real potential of USV technologies today and where they can be used in the Baltic.

We will discuss, among other things:

opportunities and readiness of Polish industry to develop unmanned technologies,
USV civil and military applications,
the use of unmanned workers in energy and critical infrastructure protection,
dual-use technologies,
regulatory and legal barriers,
what it needs to be implemented on a larger scale.

We invited representatives of industry, defence sector, public administration and companies developing technologies for the maritime economy:

• Filip Królikowski – Open Sea Shipyard
• Michał Kuc – PGZ
• Zbigniew Szozda – Ministry of Infrastructure
• Max Ananiew – Afleet
• TBA

Moderation: Artur Kiełbasinski, GospodarkaMorska.pl

It will be a discussion not only of what technology can offer in the future, but above all of where USV can be used today and what must happen to make the Baltic a space for real implementation.
