Gdańsk Bay Tech One Stop Shop: a new space for startups is taking shape at STARTER

One Stop Shop Gdańsk Bay Tech

The Gdańsk Bay Tech One Stop Shop is a first point of contact for startups, companies, investors and others looking for the right partner, programme, expert or next opportunity within Pomerania’s innovation ecosystem. The One Stop Shop is already available online. At the same time, its physical space is taking shape at STARTER in Gdańsk – a place for meetings, consultations and working with ecosystem partners.

Pomerania’s technology ecosystem already offers a wide range of opportunities: startup programmes, access to experts and universities, investors, large companies, research infrastructure, international partners and initiatives supporting international expansion.

The challenge appears when a company knows what it needs, but does not know where to start.

That is exactly why the Gdańsk Bay Tech One Stop Shop was created.

What is the Gdańsk Bay Tech One Stop Shop?

The One Stop Shop is a first point of contact with Pomerania’s technology and innovation ecosystem.

It does not create another parallel support system. Its role is to help understand the needs of a company or founder, identify relevant opportunities already available within the ecosystem and connect them with the right people or organisations.

In practice, this may mean helping to find:

  • an investor or support in preparing for investor conversations,
  • a first customer or business partner,
  • a company interested in testing or piloting a technology,
  • an expert or mentor,
  • a technology or research partner,
  • an acceleration programme or another form of support,
  • a contact in an international market,
  • a place to test a solution.

The One Stop Shop is therefore designed to shorten the path between a need and the right connection.

The One Stop Shop is already operating online

You can already use the One Stop Shop.

The first step is to tell us what you need. The Gdańsk Bay Tech team then helps clarify that need and looks for people, organisations, programmes or opportunities within the ecosystem that may be relevant.

Not every case leads to the same type of support. For one company, the next step may be a conversation with an investor. For another, it may be a meeting with a potential customer, technology expert or international partner.

That is why the One Stop Shop is not a catalogue of services. Its purpose is to match the right pathway to a specific need.

Who can use the One Stop Shop?

The One Stop Shop is not only for startups.

It is also open to:

  • SMEs and large companies,
  • investors,
  • universities and research teams,
  • experts,
  • entrepreneurship support organisations,
  • technology organisations,
  • international partners interested in working with Pomerania.

This allows the One Stop Shop to work in both directions. A startup may be looking for a customer, while a company may be looking for technology. An investor may be searching for promising teams, while an international partner may need a connection to the right part of Pomerania’s ecosystem.

Why does the One Stop Shop need a physical space?

Some connections can be made online. But there are conversations that are simply easier to have around the same table.

That is why a physical Gdańsk Bay Tech space is being created at STARTER, ul. Lęborska 3B in Gdańsk.

It will complement the One Stop Shop already operating online and provide a place for meetings, consultations, pitching, matchmaking and working with founders, companies, investors, experts and ecosystem partners.

The space will also be used for Gdańsk Bay Tech workshops and events.

This does not mean that all support will be concentrated in one building.

The One Stop Shop is designed to open access to the entire ecosystem – in Gdańsk, across Pomerania and beyond the region. The physical space will simply make it easier to start that journey.

From renders to an almost finished space

Work on the new space at STARTER has been underway for several weeks.

First came the concepts and visualisations. Construction work followed, and today the interior is increasingly beginning to look like a place that will soon become part of everyday ecosystem activity.

But the renovation itself is only part of the story.

What matters most is what will happen here afterwards: conversations between founders and investors, meetings with companies looking for technology, consultations, matchmaking, preparation for entering new markets and work towards first pilot projects.

The physical One Stop Shop space will open this autumn

The official opening is planned for 29 October 2026 during the Gdańsk Bay Tech Access Day at STARTER.

Until then, we will continue to show how the space is changing and what its different areas are being prepared for.

But you do not need to wait until the opening to use the One Stop Shop.

The point of contact is already available online.
